The Plantation Human Development Trust (PHDT) is seeking a qualified and dynamic Engineering Assistant (EA) to support housing, water supply, community infrastructure, and development projects within plantation communities.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

Option 1

• NDT, NDES, or HNDE in Civil Engineering.
• More than 2 years of relevant experience.

Option 2

• NCT (Civil) or NCIT (Civil).
• More than 7 years of relevant experience.

Required Experience

Experience in:

• Medium-scale housing projects.
• Rural water supply projects.
• Community infrastructure development.
• Related development projects.
• Community mobilization activities.
• Community-based project development and implementation.
• Tender procedures.
• Contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementation of civil engineering projects.
• Support housing and rural water supply development initiatives.
• Coordinate community infrastructure projects.
• Participate in community mobilization and project execution.
• Assist with tender documentation and procurement procedures.
• Support contract administration and project monitoring activities.

Required Skills

• Civil engineering technical knowledge.
• Project implementation and monitoring.
• Community engagement and stakeholder coordination.
• Tender and procurement process knowledge.
• Contract administration skills.
• Problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Report preparation and documentation skills.
