Job Overview

National Aquaculture Development Authority of Sri Lanka is calling applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Driver (Contract Basis) under the Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources.

Organization Overview

National Aquaculture Development Authority of Sri Lanka (NAQDA) operates under the Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources and is responsible for the development and promotion of aquaculture in Sri Lanka.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should:

• Have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six subjects with at least two credit passes in not more than two sittings.
• Possess a Heavy Vehicle Driving License issued by the Commissioner General of the Department of Motor Traffic.
• Have a minimum of three (03) years of experience in driving heavy vehicles after obtaining the relevant driving license.

Salary & Benefits

Monthly Contract Salary

• Rs. 43,200 + Rs. 17,800
• Total Monthly Salary: Rs. 61,000/-

General Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be citizens of Sri Lanka
• Be of excellent character
• Be physically and mentally fit to perform duties anywhere in the island
• Be between 18 and 45 years of age
• Possess technical knowledge regarding vehicles

Employment Conditions

• Contract period is one year
• Applicants may be required to sit for a written test or practical driving test at their own expense
