Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and auditing the Bank’s information systems
• Performing general and application control reviews for IT systems
• Working closely with IT departments and management to assess system risks
• Conducting IT audits and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Preparing audit findings, reports, and follow-up documentation
• Reviewing policies, procedures, new systems, and processes for compliance
• Introducing innovative control automation techniques to reduce compliance risks
• Reporting discrepancies, frauds, and risks to higher management
• Delivering presentations and recommendations for IT security improvements
• Participating in disaster recovery drill activities
• Ensuring completion of audit KPIs and annual IS audit plans

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology specializing in Information Security
• (ISC)² System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
• ISACA CSX Practitioner Certificate (CSXP)
• GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)

Added Advantage:

• DISSCA Certification
• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Certification

Experience Required:

• Minimum 03 years of experience in:
  • Information System Audit
  • IT Audit
  • Information Security Audit
  • Cyber Security Audit
• Experience within banking or financial institutions is preferred

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Excellent report writing abilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of computerized audit techniques
• Knowledge of IT security and infrastructure
• Risk assessment knowledge
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of banking regulations and information security policies
