Company Overview

Sun Yield Bio Ingredients Pvt Ltd is a leading species extraction company in Sri Lanka specializing in high-quality botanical extracts for global markets. The company operates under LOLC Advanced Technologies and focuses on sustainable and innovative manufacturing practices.

Job Summary

The selected candidate will oversee health, safety, environmental management, and regulatory compliance across factory operations while supporting sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain safety practices in compliance with OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 standards
• Conduct machine risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Carry out process risk assessments including HAZOP, FMEA, and JSA
• Coordinate sustainability initiatives aligned with company targets
• Ensure compliance with local and international environmental and occupational safety regulations
• Promote safety awareness through training and awareness programs
• Monitor and report environmental and safety performance indicators
• Liaise with government bodies and certification authorities when required

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in EHS/E&S roles within manufacturing or process industries
• Knowledge of:
  • OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001
  • ISO 14001
  • EHS legislation
• Hands-on experience with machine/process risk assessments and sustainability practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
