Candidate Profile

Applicants should ideally possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Linux systems administration within an enterprise environment
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, or Oracle Linux
• Experience in user and permission management, package management, and shell scripting
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware and enterprise backup or monitoring tools
• Knowledge of security hardening practices, vulnerability management, and system performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Administering, maintaining, and supporting enterprise Linux server environments hosting critical applications and services
• Installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Linux operating systems to ensure high availability and performance
• Implementing security controls and ensuring compliance with policies, audit, and regulatory requirements
• Planning and executing patch management and system upgrades following change management procedures
• Monitoring system performance and resolving incidents within SLA timelines while coordinating with internal teams and vendors
• Supporting backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes while maintaining proper documentation.
