Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Maintaining and reconciling:
  • General Ledger (GL) accounts
• Performing:
  • Monthly balance sheet activities
  • Financial reporting and analysis
• Supporting:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparing:
  • Financial reports
  • Costing and inventory-related reports
• Working with:
  • Accounting packages/software
  • Freeman accounting package (preferred)
• Ensuring compliance with:
  • Tax laws
  • Financial regulations
  • Accounting procedures

Qualifications

Applicants should possess one of the following:

• Full qualification in:
  • AAT Sri Lanka
    OR
• Intermediate qualification in:
  • CIMA (UK)
  • ACCA
  • ICA
  • CMA

Experience Requirements

Candidates should have:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in:
  • General Ledger handling
  • Financial reporting
  • Inventory management
  • Costing
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Accounting procedures
  • Tax compliance
  • Financial analysis
