Urban Development Authority under the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development is inviting applications from suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the position of Marketing Officer – Category F for the Middle Income Housing Project.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should fulfill one of the following qualification pathways:

Option 01

• Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field

AND

• Minimum 02 years of experience in the relevant area of specialization

Option 02

• Certificate of proficiency not below National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 7 issued by a Technical and Vocational Training Institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC)

AND

• Minimum 02 years of experience in the relevant area of specialization

Option 03

• Certificate of proficiency not below NVQ Level 6 issued by a Technical and Vocational Training Institute accepted by TVEC

AND

• Minimum 07 years of experience in the relevant area of specialization

Option 04

• Certificate of proficiency not below NVQ Level 5 issued by a Technical and Vocational Training Institute accepted by TVEC

AND

• Minimum 12 years of experience in the relevant area of specialization

Job Responsibilities

• Support marketing and promotional activities related to housing development projects.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders and prospective clients.
• Assist in project-related documentation and reporting.
• Support branding and public awareness programmes.
• Ensure achievement of project marketing objectives and targets.

General Conditions

• Appointments are initially on a contract basis for one year.
• Contracts may be renewed based on satisfactory performance.
• Appointments on a secondment basis will also be considered.
• Public sector applicants should forward applications through Heads of respective institutions.

Salary & Benefits

Salary

• Rs. 120,000/- per month
  Subject to Management Services Circular 01/2026 dated 02.02.2026.

Additional Benefits

• EPF Contribution: 15% by employer
• ETF Contribution: 3% by employer
• Employee EPF Contribution: 10%
