Qualifications & Experience

External Candidates

Applicants should fulfill one of the following qualifications:

Option 1

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Marketing
  • Business Administration
  • Business Management
  • Commerce
  • or another relevant field recognized by the UGC

AND

• A Postgraduate Degree (Master’s Degree) in the relevant field
  OR
• Associate Membership of a recognized Professional Chartered Institute relevant to the subject area

AND

• Minimum 15 years of experience at managerial level
• Out of which 2 years should be at Senior Management Level
• Proven track record in:
  • Corporations
  • Statutory Boards
  • Institutions
  • Reputed private sector organizations

Option 2

• Fellow / Full Membership of a recognized Professional Chartered Institution in a related field

AND

• Minimum 15 years of managerial experience in:
  • Corporations
  • Statutory Boards
  • Institutions
  • Reputed private sector organizations

Internal Candidates

Applicants should satisfy one of the following:

1. Have obtained qualifications required for external candidates

OR

2. Minimum two (2) years satisfactory service in a Senior Manager (HM) category post relevant to the subject area

Age Limit

• Minimum: 35 years
• Maximum: 55 years

(The upper age limit will not apply to internal candidates.)

Salary & Benefits

Salary Scale

HM 1-3-Rs. 152,500 – 15 x 4,100 – 214,000
