About the National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol (NATA)
The National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol (NATA) functions under the Ministry of Health and Mass Media and is responsible for implementing national policies, awareness programs, and regulatory activities related to tobacco and alcohol control in Sri Lanka.
NATA plays an important role in supporting public health initiatives and ensuring compliance with national regulations aimed at reducing the harmful effects of tobacco and alcohol use.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with administrative and office management functions
- Support human resource and staff coordination activities
- Maintain institutional records and official documentation
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and administrative documents
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and operational activities
- Ensure smooth day-to-day office administration and compliance procedures
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will receive:
- Salary scale of Rs. 96,638/-
- ETF and EPF benefits

Required Qualifications
Applicants should fulfill the following educational requirements:
- Degree recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
- Preference will be given to candidates with Management as the degree specialization
- Human Resource Management (HRM) should be a major subject component covering at least one-third of the course content
Age Limit
- Applicants should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years of age
