About the National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol (NATA)

The National Authority on Tobacco and Alcohol (NATA) operates under the Ministry of Health and Mass Media and is responsible for implementing national policies, awareness campaigns, and regulatory programs related to tobacco and alcohol control in Sri Lanka.

NATA works closely with government institutions and stakeholders to promote public health and support community development initiatives aimed at reducing the harmful effects of tobacco and alcohol use.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with development and awareness programs conducted by NATA
• Support project coordination and administrative activities
• Prepare reports, documentation, and official correspondence
• Coordinate with stakeholders, institutions, and community programs
• Assist with public health and policy-related initiatives
• Support organizational development and operational activities

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will receive:

• Monthly contract allowance of Rs. 67,631/-
• ETF and EPF benefits

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any subject area recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)

Age Limit

• Applicants should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years of age
