Job Description

Kapruka Holdings PLC, Sri Lanka’s leading e-commerce platform, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager to join its Product & Business Development team. The role focuses on expanding online sales, onboarding vendors, and improving overall marketplace performance through data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute online sales strategies to drive growth
• Identify and evaluate new business and product opportunities
• Collaborate with marketing, SEO, and IT teams for a strong online presence
• Analyze market data and sales performance to make data-driven decisions
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Manage vendor onboarding, relationships, and performance
• Oversee product listings, pricing strategies, and margin management

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce, business development, or sales
• Strong understanding of online marketplaces and digital business operations
• Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or AI tools
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and web analytics tools
• Experience working in an e-commerce platform is an added advantage
