Job Description

Priyantha Distributors (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a highly experienced accounting professional to manage financial records, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The company serves over 8,000 clients across Sri Lanka, distributing high-quality hardware products.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts accurately and update journal entries
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
• Prepare management reports
• Perform bank and supplier reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, PAYEE, WHT)
• Work collaboratively with teams and meet deadlines
• Coordinate with external parties regarding payments and financial matters

Qualifications & Requirements

• Part qualification in accounting (CA / ACCA / CIMA / AAT or equivalent)
• Minimum 3+ years experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Experience in QuickBooks and ERP systems is an added advantage
• Audit firm experience will be considered an advantage
• Preferably below 35 years of age
