Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for handling gold loan operations, customer interactions, and business growth activities at the branch level. This includes evaluating gold articles, managing loan processes, and ensuring compliance with banking and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly targets by expanding gold loan and pawning business
• Evaluate and appraise gold articles while negotiating advances with customers
• Plan and implement operational and promotional activities to drive growth
• Maintain gold quality standards and prevent fraudulent or undervalued items
• Ensure smooth operation of gold loan processes and maintain accurate records
• Handle customer complaints and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage loan recoveries and auction processes efficiently

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Gold Loan or Pawning within banking or finance industry
• Full or part qualification in Banking or a recognized professional qualification
• Strong knowledge of gold loan operations and jewellery valuation
• Proven performance track record will be an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Age below 30 years
