Job Description

Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, Sri Lanka’s leading manufacturer of premium porcelain tableware, is looking for an experienced professional to spearhead its Learning and Development function. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that align with organizational strategy and improve employee performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Learning and Development function in alignment with organizational goals
• Design, implement, and evaluate training programs to enhance employee capability
• Partner with senior management to identify skill gaps and drive leadership development
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of L&D initiatives to ensure sustainable impact

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Learning and Development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong expertise in instructional design, leadership development, and organizational learning strategies
• Ability to deliver training sessions in Sinhala and English
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, or a related field
• Postgraduate or professional qualification in HRM, OD, or related discipline will be an added advantage
• Proven ability to mentor, inspire, and build high-performing teams
