Job Description

The Quality Assurance Manager / Material Engineer will oversee quality control processes, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and manage material quality for construction projects. The role involves coordinating with project teams to maintain high standards of execution and ensuring project deliverables meet client and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
• Inspect materials and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project teams
• Conduct quality audits and site inspections
• Identify defects and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain quality documentation and reports
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent qualification
• More than 6 years of professional work experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and material engineering practices
• Experience in construction or infrastructure projects is an added advantage
• Ability to work independently and manage quality operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work on project sites island-wide
