Job Description

The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects. The role involves working closely with engineers and project teams to ensure all drawings meet required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise technical drawings for road and water projects
• Interpret engineering designs and convert them into detailed drawings
• Assist engineers in project planning and design documentation
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications
• Maintain drawing records and update project documentation
• Coordinate with site teams for design clarifications
• Support project execution with accurate technical inputs

Requirements

• NCT / NVQ or equivalent qualification in drafting or a related field
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in relevant construction projects
• Proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD or similar tools preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Willingness to work on projects island-wide
• Good communication and coordination skills
