Job Description

The Work Supervisor / Technical Assistant will be responsible for overseeing daily site activities, assisting technical teams, and ensuring construction work is executed according to project specifications. This role requires hands-on experience in construction, particularly in water supply and road development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction site operations and workforce
• Assist engineers and technical staff in project execution
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
• Support planning, scheduling, and resource allocation

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant construction projects
• Professional qualification such as NVQ Level IV or V, or NCT
• Strong knowledge of construction processes (water supply & road projects preferred)
• Ability to work independently and manage site responsibilities
• Willingness to work island-wide
• Good communication and teamwork skills
