Medfuture is a fast-growing healthcare recruitment company connecting healthcare professionals with employers across Australia and New Zealand. The company works with GPs, Rural and Locum Doctors, Allied Health professionals, Dentists and Mental Health professionals.
The Recruitment Business Consultant will manage the recruitment process from initial outreach and client acquisition through to successful placements, while also developing and growing allocated existing client accounts.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in 360 recruitment or B2B sales.
- Previous healthcare recruitment experience will be an advantage.
- Genuine hunter-farmer mindset with the ability to acquire new accounts and grow existing relationships.
- Strong interviewing, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Strong business development and client acquisition capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with clinicians, practice owners and HR leaders.
- Strong data discipline and ability to maintain accurate ATS records and pipeline information.
Key Responsibilities
- Review allocated clients and develop an effective target market strategy.
- Prospect, qualify and approach potential clients.
- Present recruitment solutions and secure new client relationships, terms and exclusivity where applicable.
- Take structured recruitment briefs covering requirements, salary/rates, timelines and compliance needs.
- Source and attract healthcare talent through databases, referrals, LinkedIn, job boards and recruitment campaigns.
- Screen and shortlist candidates, including interviews, reference checks and eligibility checks.
- Manage interviews by coordinating schedules, preparing candidates and clients, conducting debriefs and maintaining recruitment momentum.
- Negotiate offers, manage counteroffers and coordinate start dates and acceptance.
- Maintain compliance documentation, including relevant medical practice, visa and eligibility checks.
- Confirm placements and support invoicing and guarantee milestones.
- Provide post-placement support, monitor onboarding and retention, and identify opportunities for repeat business and additional recruitment requirements.
- Maintain accurate ATS records and pipeline information.
- Forecast recruitment activity and share relevant market intelligence.
