🧪 Senior Scientist (AR – 2)
Applicants must meet one of the following:
Option (A)
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science / Technology (UGC recognized)
- Postgraduate Degree (Master’s) or Corporate Membership in a recognized professional institution
- Minimum 08 years research & development experience after first degree
OR Option (B)
- Special Degree in relevant field
- PhD in relevant discipline
- Minimum 05 years research experience
📌 Research publications relevant to the discipline will be an added qualification.
🔬 Scientist (AR – 1, Grade II)
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science / Technology
OR
- 3-year Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- Postgraduate Degree / Diploma in relevant discipline
OR
- Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL)
- Graduate Membership of Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA)
📌 Research experience related to the post will be an added advantage.
🏗️ Management Assistant (Technical) – MA 2-2, Grade III
Applicants must have:
- NVQ Level 5 Certificate issued by a Technical / Vocational Training Institute recognized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission
OR
- National Certificate of Technology (NCT) issued by Government Technical College
OR
- Laboratory Diploma from a recognized University / Institute
📌 Minimum 3 years relevant experience will be an added advantage.

🔹 AR – 1, Grade II
Rs. 91,650 – 10 x 2,480 – 15 x 3,450 – 168,200
Basic Salary Step: Rs. 81,675
🔹 MA 2-2, Grade III
