Qualifications – External Candidates
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Commerce / Business Management / Business Administration (Marketing Special) recognized by the UGC
- Postgraduate Degree (Master’s) in Marketing / Commerce / Business Management
- Minimum 15 years’ experience at Managerial Level in a Corporation, Statutory Board, Institution, or reputed commercial organization
Internal Candidates
- Must possess external qualifications OR
- Minimum 05 years satisfactory service in Manager Category (MM Grade I) in the relevant subject area
Age Limit
- 35 – 55 years
- Upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates

Internal Candidates
- Possessing external qualifications OR
- Minimum 05 years satisfactory service in Junior Manager (JM) Category in the relevant field

Internal Candidates (Any One)
- Possessing external qualifications
- Minimum 03 years satisfactory service in Junior Manager (JM 1.1) category
- Minimum 05 years satisfactory service as Management Assistant Grade II
