Qualifications & Experience
- BSc in Civil Engineering or NDT/HNDE in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality and safety standards
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
- Monitor project progress, schedules and resource requirements
- Inspect civil and structural works to ensure quality and compliance
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues
- Assist with construction planning, scheduling and coordination
- Prepare site reports, measurements and progress updates
- Coordinate inspections and corrective actions
- Support project management in achieving quality, cost and timeline targets
Required Skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering, structural and architectural drawings
- Good communication, coordination, problem-solving and site management skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure while meeting project deadlines
- Willingness to work at construction sites and coordinate with different project stakeholders
