Senior Lead (Systems & Solutions)

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Lead – Systems & Solutions to lead the solution architecture, design, and evolution of complex enterprise systems within our CRM & Billing landscape. This role plays a critical part in enabling business growth through modern, scalable, and reliable IT solutions aligned with telecommunications industry standards.

You will work closely with architects, product owners, vendors, and cross‑functional IT teams to deliver high‑impact systems, support core business operations, and drive continuous improvement across mission‑critical platforms.

The Job

• Design and enhance end‑to‑end solution architectures for CRM, Billing, Charging, and related enterprise systems
• Ensure all solutions align with the Enterprise Architecture landscape and non‑functional requirements (performance, scalability, security, reliability)
• Produce detailed solution designs, diagrams, integration strategies, and impact assessments
• Review and optimize system integrations and peripheral platforms

• Own and evolve core enterprise product stacks within the CRM & Billing domain
• Analyse current and future requirements to propose system enhancements and roadmap initiatives
• Oversee implementation of product changes and system upgrades
• Periodically assess security posture and ensure risks are addressed both tactically and strategically

• Lead feasibility assessments and implementation of new products and services with minimal post‑launch issues
• Support major core system projects, including CBS upgrades, network mergers, and new system implementations
• Provide technical guidance to delivery teams, developers, QA, and operational teams

• Coordinate with strategic vendors to manage incidents, patches, change requests, and upgrades with zero or minimal business impact
• Work closely with business units to align priorities, manage delivery pipelines, and ensure on‑time execution
• Provide subject‑matter expertise and consultancy across teams

• Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance productivity and system performance
• Support digitisation initiatives by modernising legacy systems and reducing operational risk

The Person

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field

• AWS Solutions Architect – Associate (required)
• ITIL v4 Certification(optional)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise systems, solution architecture, or large‑scale IT environments
• Proven experience in telecommunications systems, preferably CRM, Billing, Charging, and Policy management platforms

• Strong understanding of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies
• In‑depth knowledge of charging systems, billing concepts, and enterprise CRM platforms
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT trends and their practical application
• Experience working with large vendors and complex enterprise ecosystems
