Job Description

Sampath Securities, a leading stockbroker and member of the Colombo Stock Exchange, is seeking a skilled Senior Executive – IT to oversee system administration, maintain business-critical applications, and ensure high system performance and security compliance.

The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting Order Management Systems, Back Office Systems, IT governance, and infrastructure optimization while ensuring uninterrupted IT operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise business applications and IT systems
• Support Order Management Systems and Back Office Systems
• Ensure compliance with Information Security policies and Trading Participant Rules
• Monitor and optimize system performance and capacity planning
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and infrastructure-related issues
• Prepare IT compliance and management reports for senior management
• Ensure effective implementation of IT internal controls and procedures
• Conduct regular reviews of IT operational and security processes

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration and IT implementation
• Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and software technologies
• Knowledge of enterprise systems and IT infrastructure management
• Ability to adapt to evolving technological advancements
• Good communication skills with proficiency in English
