Tritech Engineers (Pvt) Ltd, an ISO 9001:2015 certified and leading engineering and construction company, is seeking a self-motivated, dynamic and ambitious Quantity Surveyor for Civil / Mech tendering and billing at its Kiribathgoda office. The role is responsible for quantity surveying duties in the QS Department, including preparing BOQs and cost estimates for civil and steel structural building projects. Qualifications & Experience
- BSc (QS) or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in tendering and billing for civil and structural building-related projects
- Preferably below 40 years of age
- A valid driving license for motorbike / vehicle will be considered an asset
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quantity surveying duties in the QS Department
- Prepare BOQs and cost estimates for civil and steel structural building projects
- Handle tendering and billing
- Keep good records and carry out reading and measurement using AutoCAD
- Attend site visits and meetings as and when required
Required Skills
- Good communication skills with peers, clients, consultant representatives, suppliers and contractors
- Capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision and within time limits
- Good record keeping, and willingness and interest in learning
- Good oral and written communication in English
- Good speed in Word and Excel, and ability for AutoCAD reading and measurement
