Laxman Metal Crushers & Enterprises is a construction and road-sector company based at No. 16, Putupagala, Mandawala, in the Gampaha area.
Qualifications & Experience
- Surveyor: B.Sc. (Engineering) or equivalent and corporate membership of IESL or an equivalent professional body; minimum 8 years’ total experience, including 5 years in a similar capacity, preferably in road construction or project management
- Material cum Quality Assurance Manager: B.Sc. (Engineering) – Civil, Material Science or equivalent; minimum 6 years’ total experience, including 3 years in a similar capacity, preferably in road construction or project management
- Quantity Surveyor and Assistant Quantity Surveyors: Minimum NCT in Quantity Surveying (NCT QS) or equivalent; minimum 4 years’ total experience, including 2 years in a similar capacity, preferably in road construction
- Supervisors / Foremen: Minimum NCT in Civil (NCT Civil) or equivalent; minimum 4 years’ total experience, including 2 years in a similar capacity, preferably in road construction
- Technical Officer: Minimum NVQ Level 4 (Civil), NCT (Civil) or equivalent; minimum 5 years’ total experience, including 2 years in a similar capacity, preferably in road construction
- CAD Draft Personnel: Minimum NCT in Draftsmanship; minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in the road sector
- Material Technician & Quality Assurance Inspectors: Minimum NCT (Civil) or equivalent; minimum 2 to 3 years’ road experience; ability to handle document work
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out surveying, material testing, quality assurance, quantity surveying, site supervision, technical and CAD drafting duties for the Gampaha Road Project, according to the role
- Maintain quality and documentation standards on a road construction project
- Coordinate with the project team to deliver work on schedule
