Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Pharmacist with registration from the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC).
- Age below 45 years.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hospital or community pharmacy.
- Good knowledge of pharmacy operations and pharmaceutical practices.
- Ability to provide effective patient counseling.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent computer literacy and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and hospital policies.
- Provide professional medication counseling to patients.
- Ensure safe storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceuticals.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Monitor medication inventory and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, hospital standards, and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department.
