Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Pharmacist with registration from the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC).
• Age below 45 years.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hospital or community pharmacy.
• Good knowledge of pharmacy operations and pharmaceutical practices.
• Ability to provide effective patient counseling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent computer literacy and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and hospital policies.
• Provide professional medication counseling to patients.
• Ensure safe storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Monitor medication inventory and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, hospital standards, and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department.
