Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Passed the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in the Bio-Science Stream.
• Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Medical Laboratory Sciences.
• Valid Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) registration.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Strong teamwork and self-discipline.
• Willingness to work on a roster basis.
• Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Kalmunai.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
• Collect, prepare, process, and analyze biological specimens.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration.
• Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records and reports.
• Follow infection control and laboratory safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure timely diagnostic services.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling patient information.
