The Internal Audit Associates play a critical role in safeguarding corporate assets, ensuring compliance and driving operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- CBA or CCA qualification of CA Sri Lanka, or an equivalent qualification from CIMA, ACCA, AAT, or any other recognized professional body
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in internal auditing
- Male candidates only
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audit assignments in accordance with the annual audit plan
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend practical solutions to enhance efficiency and governance
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to the Head – Internal Audit
- Coordinate with various departments and assist in the implementation of audit recommendations
- Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding audit issues
- Travel to outstation locations as required for factory, field and distributor audits
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk assessment and audit techniques
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments
