Role Overview

The Internal Audit Associate will support the company’s governance and risk management processes by conducting internal audits, evaluating controls, and identifying operational improvements. The role includes field visits and coordination with multiple departments and operational locations.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Conducting internal audit assignments according to the annual audit plan
• Identifying areas for improvement and recommending practical solutions
• Preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings to the Head – Internal Audit
• Coordinating with departments to implement audit recommendations
• Following up on outstanding audit issues
• Traveling to factory, field, and distributor locations for audits when required

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Part qualification in:
  • CA Sri Lanka
  • CIMA
  • ACCA
  • AAT
  • or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in internal auditing
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors (preferred)
• Strong understanding of:
  • Internal control frameworks
  • Risk assessment
  • Audit methodologies
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
