Human Resources Manager Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire HR lifecycle including:
  • Recruitment
  • Onboarding
  • Performance management
• Manage industrial relations and labour-related matters
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Sri Lankan labour regulations
• Develop and implement HR policies to improve productivity and employee retention
• Act as the primary HR contact for factory and office staff
• Maintain a productive and harmonious work environment

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
• Professional diplomas from recognized institutions such as:
  • CIPM
  • Equivalent professional qualifications
    are highly encouraged

Experience

• Minimum 5–10 years of managerial experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

Legal & Technical Knowledge

Candidates should possess:

• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan Labour Law
• Experience handling:
  • Industrial disputes
  • Disciplinary inquiries
  • Compliance audits

Core Competencies

Ideal candidates should have:

• Excellent communication skills in English and local languages
