Job Description

Royal College is seeking a highly skilled and motivated cricket coach to lead the U17 and U19 Cricket Teams. The role focuses on player development, match preparation, technical coaching, tactical planning, and maintaining high performance standards within the teams.

The ideal candidate should possess strong cricket coaching experience, leadership qualities, and the ability to mentor young athletes in both sportsmanship and performance.

Major Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive coaching programs for the cricket teams
• Plan and conduct technical, tactical, and fitness training sessions
• Provide individual coaching and performance feedback to players
• Prepare players mentally and physically for competitive matches
• Analyze opponents and create effective match strategies
• Foster a positive team environment focused on discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Coordinate with assistant coaches and support staff for player development
• Maintain records of player attendance, performance, and progress

Qualifications & Requirements

• Level 2 coaching qualification or higher from a recognized cricket coaching body
• Proven experience in coaching cricket at College level
• Strong track record in developing players and achieving competitive success
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of cricket techniques, tactics, and strategies
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Commitment to academic excellence, integrity, and respect aligned with Royal College values
