Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading the finance team of Madulsima Plantation PLC
• Overseeing:
  • Financial reporting
  • Statutory compliance
• Preparing and managing:
  • Annual budgets
  • Forecasts
  • Cost-control plans
• Monitoring estate operating costs including:
  • Labor
  • Fertilizer
  • Maintenance
• Managing:
  • Cash flow
  • Working capital
  • Payment cycles
• Tracking inventory and safeguarding plantation assets
• Validating plantation KPIs and yield data
• Strengthening internal controls and system improvements
• Analyzing:
  • Replanting strategies
  • Capex decisions
  • Efficiency improvements
• Monitoring supplier payments according to policies
• Coordinating with:
  • Estate managers
  • Banks
  • Auditors
  • Government authorities

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Associate membership of:
  • CA Sri Lanka
  • ACCA (UK)
• MBA in Finance / Business Administration or CFA qualification will be an added advantage
• Strong expertise in:
  • Advanced Excel
  • Power BI
  • Analytical reporting
• 3–4 years of managerial experience
• Plantation sector experience will be an added advantage
• Ability to work independently in a plantation-based environment
• Proficiency in:
  • MS Office
  • ERP systems
  • AI tools
• Strong people management and administrative skills
