Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Textile Technology, Industrial Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in apparel manufacturing operations, performing a senior leadership role (Factory Manager / Operations Manager)
- Strong understanding of apparel production processes, IE, quality systems and compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end factory operations including production, industrial engineering, quality, maintenance, HR, compliance and administration
- Improve CM contribution and factory profitability
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery and materials to achieve production targets
- Drive productivity, efficiency and cost optimization across all departments
- Ensure production plans are executed as per approved schedules, capacity and delivery timelines
- Ensure adherence to SMV / SAH, efficiency, output and cut-to-ship ratios
- Manage factory budgets and control operational costs including overtime, utilities, wastage and overheads
- Oversee workforce planning, attendance, absenteeism and labor productivity, and ensure compliance with labour laws, disciplinary procedures and HR policies
- Ensure full compliance with buyer codes of conduct, BOI and statutory requirements
Required Skills
- Senior leadership and people management skills
- Strong knowledge of apparel production, industrial engineering and quality systems
