The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Electronics Engineer Grade III at the Centre for Educational Technology and Media (CETMe).

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• A B.Sc. Engineering Degree from a recognized University/HEI, specializing in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

Selection Method

Selection will be through a structured interview.

Candidates who obtain 40% marks or above at the structured interview will be eligible to be considered for selection.

Salary

Salary Scale: U-EX 1(II)
Rs. 85,305 – 3 × Rs. 2,020 – Rs. 91,365
(EB) Rs. 93,765 – 12 × Rs. 2,400 – Rs. 122,565 p.m.

The salary scale will be fully operative from 01.01.2027.

The appointee will also be eligible for other allowances applicable to the post.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Operation, maintenance and management of professional and broadcast-quality audio-visual systems and equipment at CETMe.
• Preparation of technical specifications.
• Technical supervision of installations.
• Performing other related engineering duties assigned by the University.

Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in a similar engineering position.
