Qualifications & Experience
- BSc / NDT / HNDE / NDES in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in engineering of infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in utilizing CAD software and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (IEC, IEEE, BS standards)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and components in compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Perform power cable sizing calculations, load demand calculations and LV network designs
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, estimates and other documentation (BOQs) for electrical designs
- Prepare lighting designs for indoor and outdoor applications (preferably using software)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other components and systems
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and support as needed
