Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
- Mandatory hands-on experience in plant maintenance, refrigeration and ammonia plants
- Proven experience in maintenance management and leading technical teams
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily engineering and maintenance activities with the Plant Engineer
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of refrigeration systems and ammonia plant
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of material handling equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and minimize equipment downtime
- Lead and supervise maintenance teams, ensuring effective task allocation and performance
- Support maintenance planning, spare parts management and cost control
- Ensure compliance with engineering, operational and safety standards
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance practices and operational efficiency
Required Skills
- Strong technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability and industrial safety
- Strong leadership, communication and team management skills
- Passion for working on the ground with teams on maintenance and repairs
- Proactive, practical and results-oriented approach to engineering operations
