🎯 Job Role

As Director (Administration), you will lead administrative and HR functions, ensure compliance with government policies, and support strategic operations of the organization.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Manage human resources, HR planning, and development
• Oversee general administration and HRD functions
• Implement government circulars and policies
• Handle personnel management and disciplinary matters
• Set KPIs and monitor departmental performance
• Develop and implement administrative improvement strategies
• Ensure compliance with institutional procedures and standards
• Promote ICT systems and modern management tools
• Maintain quality management systems and operational efficiency
• Report to senior management and Director General

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

✅ External Candidates

Option 1:

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR / Public Administration / Management / Commerce 🎓
• PLUS Postgraduate Degree or Chartered Membership
• Minimum 15 years managerial experience

OR

Option 2:

• Full professional qualification (Chartered Institute)
• Minimum 15 years managerial experience

✅ Internal Candidates

• Same qualifications as above OR
• Minimum 5 years in Manager Category (MM Grade I)

• Sri Lankan citizen 🇱🇰
• Strong leadership and administrative skills
• Excellent moral character
• Physically & mentally fit

🎂 Age Limit

• 35 – 55 years (no upper limit for internal candidates)

💰 Salary & Benefits

• Salary Scale: Rs. 152,500 – 214,000 📈
• Initial Salary (2026): Rs. 133,028/month
• Additional government allowances
• EPF & ETF benefits
• Permanent government position
