🎯 Job Role

As an Assistant Production Manager, you will support production planning, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and improve operational efficiency in the manufacturing process.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules 📅
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth production flow
• Monitor production processes and support the Production Manager
• Ensure compliance with GMP & HACCP standards 🧪
• Maintain food safety standards (ISO 22000)
• Work closely with quality control teams
• Supervise production staff and provide training 👨‍🏭
• Manage staffing levels and shift operations
• Coordinate machinery maintenance with technical teams
• Identify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials
• Maintain production records, reports, and efficiency metrics
• Report issues and recommend solutions

🎓 Skills & Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Food Technology / Dairy Science / Agriculture 🎓
• 3–5 years’ experience in dairy or food manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000
• Excellent leadership, communication & problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with ERP systems & production planning tools
