Job Responsibilities
This role is responsible for managing the payroll fuctions of a set of clients which includes following Payroll processing for multiple clients on different platforms Preparing off cycle payments such as bonuses Making payment of all statutory dues Submitting periodic Returns to Regulatory Bodies (ETF, PAYE/STAMP DUTY etc.) Liaising with Finance, HR and Payroll staff Liaising with Auditors Maintaining proper records File maintenance.
The responsibilities are as follows,
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding
- Handle client recruitment by scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and maintaining records
- Oversee HR administrative functions, from up-to-date employee data and HR documentation
- Handle client queries promptly while maintaining high service standards
- Lead and guide the team to achieve strong performance and efficiency
- Track team performance and take action to meet service delivery targets
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory and audit requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Support department growth by improving services and identifying new opportunities
Person Specifications
- Possesses a bachelor’s degree or Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management or Business Administration or a related field from a recognized Institute.
- More than 5 years of experience in HR with preferred experience serving in an Assistant Manager Capacity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive working environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage SLAs and timelines.
