Berendina Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Manager – Finance to lead finance operations, budgeting, financial reporting, taxation, and cash flow management at its Head Office.

Qualifications & Experience
Educational Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university or institution.
Professional Qualifications
Candidates must possess membership or have completed the finalist level of a recognized professional accounting qualification such as:
- ICASL
- CIMA
- ACCA
Experience
- Approximately 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar finance role within a reputed organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret monthly and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate with external auditors for timely completion of audited financial statements.
- Liaise with tax consultants and tax authorities regarding statutory payments and tax compliance.
- Lead the finance team at Head Office and branch operations.
- Prepare and coordinate annual and quarterly budgets.
- Implement budgetary controls and process improvements.
- Manage company cash flows and present consolidated cash flow reports.
- Develop and implement internal controls for finance operations.
- Oversee day-to-day finance activities of the organization.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (SLFRS/LKAS).
- Knowledge of local taxation and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Sinhala and Tamil language proficiency will be an added advantage.
