The Coconut Cultivation Board, under the Ministry of Plantation and Community Infrastructure, invites applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Internal Audit Officer.

Position: Internal Audit Officer
Workplace: Head Office
Salary Category: JM 1-2
Salary Scale: Rs. 74,010 – (1,360 × 10) – (2,040 × 18) – Rs. 124,330/-

The salary payment method is as per Management Service Department Circular No. 01/2025, with the relevant salary payments stated as Rs. 66,781/- from 01.01.2026 and Rs. 74,010/- from 01.01.2027.

Qualifications & Experience

External Candidates

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

• A Degree in Business Management with Financial Control as a subject, recognized by the University Grants Commission.
• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Degree.
• Passed the Intermediate Examination of a recognized Chartered Professional Accountancy body.
• Higher National Diploma in Accounting.

AND

• One (01) year of work experience in accounting and auditing in a Government Department, Government Corporation, or Government-recognized institution.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 22 years
• Maximum age: 45 years
• The maximum age limit does not apply to internal applicants.

Other Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
• Possess excellent physical and mental fitness required to perform the duties assigned to the post and serve in any part of Sri Lanka.
• Be of excellent character.

Recruitment Method

Recruitment will be based on the results of a written competitive examination and/or a structured interview conducted by a panel appointed by the appointing authority.
