Job Description

MBSL is seeking an experienced, results-oriented and strategic professional to lead its Corporate Advisory & Capital Markets function. The role will focus on corporate finance initiatives, capital market transactions and fee-based business growth, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Management, Economics, Accountancy, or a related field from a recognised university.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Capital Markets or Corporate Advisory, including experience in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • IPOs
  • Debentures
  • Business valuations
  • Corporate finance
  • Capital market operations
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Proven leadership ability with experience managing teams and driving business growth.
• Age limit: 50 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Corporate Advisory & Capital Markets function.
• Manage MBSL’s Margin Trading and Equity Investment Portfolios.
• Lead fee-income-generating activities including IPOs, securitisations, business valuations and corporate planning assignments.
• Coordinate debenture issues, further share issues and other capital market transactions.
• Prepare Board papers, management reports and strategic recommendations related to corporate activities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and effective stakeholder engagement.
