Position Details

The Chief Executive Officer / Principal Officer will serve as the senior executive leader of Sanasa Life Insurance Company PLC, responsible for executing the company’s vision, mission and long-term business strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, Economics, Law, Actuarial Science or a related discipline.
• A Master’s Degree, such as an MBA or equivalent, will be an added advantage.
• A recognized professional qualification in Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management or Marketing.
• Minimum 15 years of senior management experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in an executive leadership position within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Thorough understanding of the Insurance Industry Act, regulatory framework, governance requirements and prudent practices applicable to a licensed insurer.

• Promote sound corporate governance, risk management and ethical business practices.
• Ensure effective financial management, capital adequacy, solvency and statutory reporting requirements.

• Monitor and review business performance, key metrics, policyholder outcomes and emerging risks.
