Qualifications & Experience

Candidates applying for the Cloud Architect position should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in enterprise IT.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in infrastructure administration or cloud technologies.
• Strong professional knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including:
  • Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Enterprise infrastructure
  • Virtualization
  • Cloud computing environments
• Experience in Microsoft cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Experience in cloud transformation, infrastructure modernization or technology implementation will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

The Cloud Architect will be responsible for managing, optimizing and supporting the bank’s Microsoft cloud and enterprise infrastructure environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
• Support and drive the bank’s cloud transformation initiatives using Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft server platforms and related infrastructure services.
• Contribute to infrastructure modernization projects, including the implementation, migration and optimization of cloud and on-premises technologies.
• Design and support Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions to ensure business continuity and service availability.
• Monitor, maintain and optimize cloud and Microsoft infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability and availability.
• Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the bank’s IT environment.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, architecture diagrams and implementation guides.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors and technology partners to successfully deliver technology initiatives.
• Ensure cloud and infrastructure solutions comply with the bank’s IT standards, operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to strategic planning and development of the bank’s cloud and infrastructure roadmap.
• Support the implementation of secure, scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, efficiency and resilience.
