Qualifications & Experience

Candidates applying for the Manager – Bancassurance & Partnerships position should meet the following requirements:

• A Degree from a UGC-approved university or an equivalent professional qualification, preferably in Sales and Marketing.
• Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the Life Bancassurance channel.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Managerial position within Bancassurance.
• Previous experience in handling a large team will be a definite advantage.
• Proven experience managing teams with a strong track record of delivering sales results.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across different segments of society.

Key Responsibilities

The Manager – Bancassurance & Partnerships will be responsible for managing and developing the Bancassurance sales function while driving business growth through banking partnerships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise, guide and support Team Leaders and Cluster Heads.
• Set clear targets, monitor performance and ensure consistent achievement of individual and team KPIs.
• Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with bank branch managers and key stakeholders.
• Strengthen collaboration with banking partners to support business growth.
• Conduct regular branch visits island-wide.
• Assist in executing sales promotions, campaigns and joint activities to increase market penetration of Life Endowment products.
• Identify local growth opportunities within assigned branch networks.
• Support the implementation of cross-selling and up-selling strategies.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, training and deployment of regional teams.
• Coordinate with management to ensure adequate branch coverage.
• Monitor team performance and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Drive sales growth and ensure achievement of assigned Bancassurance targets.
• Develop strong relationships with banking partners and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure effective execution of Bancassurance strategies across assigned regions.
