Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction costing, contract administration, and procurement procedures.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, project costing, and commercial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for construction works.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Conduct tender analysis and evaluate contractor and subcontractor bids.
• Administer construction contracts with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
• Manage variation orders and contract changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and verify quantities.
• Prepare interim and final valuation reports, including Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).
• Review and certify IPCs according to project progress and contractual requirements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, commercial requirements, and legal regulations.
