Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a professional qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources and Administration.
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan labour laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Legal background or knowledge will be considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with government authorities and manage administrative operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and renew statutory certifications and licences, including EPL, Trade Licence, Fire Certificate, and other regulatory approvals.
- Manage disciplinary matters while ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, including Municipal Councils, the Labour Department, and the Labour Tribunal.
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations to ensure smooth business functioning.
- Promote workplace health, safety, and employee welfare in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Coordinate regular maintenance services and repair activities.
- Maintain and monitor audit-related documentation and records.
- Manage foreign travel arrangements, including visa processing and flight bookings.
- Supervise outsourced service providers, including security and janitorial services.
