Qualifications & Experience

• BSc in Nursing is preferred; Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing will also be considered.
• Valid SLMC, SLNC, or PHSRC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pediatric, school, or general nursing.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with children or within a school environment will be an added advantage.
• Ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care, including administering medication and managing medical emergencies.
• Conduct health assessments and maintain accurate medical records.
• Deliver age-appropriate healthcare and health education to students.
• Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with school health policies, hygiene standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Monitor student health and provide appropriate nursing interventions when required.
• Promote a safe and healthy learning environment through preventive healthcare initiatives.
