This role is designed for individuals with specialized banking experience who can efficiently evaluate credit proposals, handle branch-level SME credit portfolios, manage non-performing assets, and ensure strict compliance with internal and regulatory credit operations.

Full or Part qualification in Banking at IBSL.
Diploma in Credit Management will be advantageous.
Minimum of 4–5 years of working experience preferably in a Bank, out of which 2–3 years must be direct exposure in a credit role.
Good knowledge of Credit procedures and regulatory requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Solid knowledge of industry/market conditions, volatility, and emerging trends.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Handle SME Credit in a branch and achieve set targets in Advances, NPA, and IIS.
Evaluate loan applications and prepare proposals with detailed information and necessary attachments for the approving authority swiftly and efficiently.
Ensure loan disbursements are made only on completion of security documentation, disbursed in stages, and ensure interest rates are charged as per tariff.
Manage issuance of guarantees, holding applicable margin, renewals, cancellations, reversals, follow-up on expired guarantees, balancing, submitting monthly statements, and maintaining proper correspondence.
Carry out site visits, ensure proper post-credit follow-ups, and react proactively to early warning signals.
Take responsibility for Watch list / NPA management, including calling and visiting overdue clients.
Carry out periodic physical verification of pawned articles.
Maintain operations to ensure a low audit rating on all credit functions.
