Qualifications & Experience

• Full or part qualification in Banking from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka (IBSL).

• Minimum of 02–03 years of experience in commercial banking.

• Including 03–04 years in branch operational functions.

• In-depth knowledge of banking policies and procedures, operational processes, foreign exchange transactions, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.

• Excellent business communication skills with strong computer literacy.

• An outgoing, self-motivated individual with a strong customer service–oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform teller operations, account opening activities, and provide service at customer service counters in accordance with bank standards.

• Attend to customer inquiries efficiently while actively promoting cross-selling of banking products and services.

• Ensure full accountability for cash and other financial instruments held under custody, maintaining accuracy and compliance at all times.

• Maintain and manage bank records and documentation in line with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Achieve assigned operational targets and contribute to the branch’s business goals.

• Actively participate in branch-level marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives to support business growth.
